There are a lot of Christmas movies that you have seen, from the right point of view, are considered a holiday movie watching. We asked experts to share their favorite non-Christmas Christmas movies.

Following are some movies that are placed in the Christmas movie genre.

1. Gremlins:

This is Steven Spielberg’s horror and comedy film that was made during Christmas time. Here the character Gremlins arrives in Christmas present that sings Christmas songs and cause wreak and destruction while giving Christmas hats. This film is a cautionary movie tale and tells us the danger of giving gifts. You can watch it on Vudu, Amazon Prime videos, Google Play, iTunes, and YouTube.

2. Die Hard:

This is Bruce Willis’ classical, action Christmas movie. The movie scene represents a Christmas holiday party. In the fight scene, the arrival of Santa Clause, snow, and Christmas sound in the background.

3. Harry Potter films:

In this movie, many scenes are of Christmas. One moment was when Harry Potter got his first gift in,  “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” and the second was when he visits the hometown of his parent in, “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollow.” There were more Christmas moments like the gift of Hagrid, a knitted sweater from Molly Weasley, and a life-saving mysterious gift.

4. While you were sleeping:

It is Sandra Bullock’s romantic film in which a man pretends as a Comatose patient and a woman act as his fiancée. In this movie, Christmas scenes are weird dinners of the family, ice skating scene, and snow in Chicago with Christmas music and many glowing lights.

5. American psycho:

This is a movie about Wall Street’s serial killings that was released in the holidays. In this, there is a Christmas scene where Christian Bale’s character, Patrick batsman plans his next murder.

6. Iron Man 3:

This is a superhero action movie. In this movie, there is a Christmas season in which Tony Stark is saving the world. In this movie, there is snow, decorated trees, and Christmas lights in between action scenes. Here in the background sounds of “jingle bells” he goes through his transformation.

7. Batsman Returns:

Batman is the antithesis spirit of Christmas. Batman adds a touch of action and dark comedy and humor to the film. The Christmas trees decoration, covering everything with snow, and batsman’s whole environment shows the film is a holiday movie.

8. Edward Scissorhands:

The last third of the film is a Christmas scene where a young Johnny walks with appendages. And second, when Depp entertains Ryder with an ice sculpture that is hand-made in the Christmas songs. The end of the film is also a snow-filled scene.

9. Trading places:

This Eddie Murphy film is a comedy film. Some basic assumption is, when humble Murphy changed his lifestyle to an elite class, just to win the bet. But it is a Christmas movie because the film was shot in Philadelphia in the Christmas season and the drunk Santa scene is the best movie scene of all time.
