Sadly, there are many YouTubers who have died young. Many of them passed away due to fatal diseases, a few of them were caught in accidents while filming, and some were because of assassination killing.

Keenan Cahill

Keenan Cahill was a 27-year-old American content creator. He was famous for his celebrity lip-sync videos. Keenan Cahill joined YouTube on 26 October 2009 and had 727K subscribers and over 465 million views on his videos.

He has collaborated with many celebrities including Justin Bieber, 50 Cent, Katy Perry, Jenifer Aniston, Britney Spears, David Guetta, and Ariana Grande. His video with 50 Cent which they lip-synced on “Down on Me” received over 60 million views.

He was born with a rare condition called “Maroteaux Lamy Syndrome.”

His manager ‘David Graham’ told TMZ that Keenan Cahill underwent heart surgery on 15 December 2022 in a Chicago hospital. After his surgery, he was put on life support. On 29 December 2022, Keenan Cahill died at the age of 27 due to complications from open heart surgery. The GoFundMe page has raised funds over $15,000 to cover Cahill’s medical and funeral expenses.


 Alexander, known as ‘Technoblade’ was an American 23-year-old gamer and Youtuber. He was known worldwide for his Minecraft videos, live streams, and involvement in the Dream SMP. Technoblade joined YouTube on 29 October 2013 and had 15.8 million subscribers and over 1.57 billion views on his videos. His content was mainly Minecraft gameplay, and particularly on the minigame server Hypixel. On 27 August 2021, Technoblade revealed to his fans that he had been diagnosed with cancer. After fighting cancer for almost a year, he died of metastatic sarcoma at the age of 23 in June 2022.

His father said that he wrote a farewell message to his fans around 8 hours before he died. He wrote: “Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you’re watching this. I am dead.” Moreover, at the time of his death, Technoblade’s main YouTube channel had reached over 11 million subscribers.

Josh Neuman

Josh Neuman was a 22-year-old American Youtuber, pro downhill Skateboarder, filmmaker, social media influencer, and adventurer. He was famous for his daredevil skating videos. Josh joined YouTube on 26 March 2007 and had 1.26 million subscribers and over 2.64 million views on his channel. He started making longboarding videos on YouTube when he was 12 years old.

On 3 February 2022, his traveling plane went missing. In February, Josh passed away at the age of 22 in a plane crash in Iceland. 3 other people were also killed with him including the pilot while shooting a commercial during a sightseeing fight near the lake.

Melanie Ham

Melanie Ham was a 36-year-old crafting Youtuber. She was popular for sharing her sewing, crocheting, and DIY tutorial videos on YouTube. Melanie joined YouTube on 6 December 2011 and had 886K subscribers and over 799k views on her channel.

 In August 2020, Melanie was diagnosed with epithelioid angiomyolipoma, a cancer form of sarcoma. On 12 January 2022, Melanie Ham died at the age of 36 after losing her battle with rare cancer. Her husband, Robert made an announcement about her death on Instagram on 12 January 2022. He even stated that his wife fought like a warrior queen against the insidious disease.

Adalia Rose Williams

Adalia Rose Williams was a 15-year-old YouTube star. She was known throughout the world for documenting her life with an early aging disorder. Adalia was loved by her supporters for her makeup videos and comedy skits. Adalia joined YouTube on 9 June 2012 and had 3.04 million subscribers and 3.7 million views on her channel.

Adalia was diagnosed with ‘Hutchinson Gilford Progeria’ when she was 3 months old. It’s a rare genetic disorder in which children age more rapidly with symptoms including alopecia and delayed development. After being in pain for many years, Adalia Williams passed away at the age of 15 on 12 January 2022. Her loved ones shared her departure news with a heartfelt note on her Facebook and Instagram accounts on Wednesday, Jan 12, 2022.

Patricia Moreno

Patricia was a 57-year-old Spiritual Fitness Leader and Youtuber. She was known for creating a popular exercising program called ‘intenSati’ in 2002. IntenSati is a program of movement, mantra, and meditation to awaken the mind, body, and spirit and train us to be an observer of our thoughts, and choose powerful, and positive ones. It includes high-energy cardio moves. She uploads the exercising videos of 20-45 mins on YouTube through which people can exercise at home. She joined YouTube on 2 March 2011 and had 8.19K subscribers and over 374K views on her channel.

On 22 January 2022, Patricia Moreno passed away from cervical cancer in Los Angeles, Osborne. Her wife Kellen Mori shared this sorrowful news with the public.

Sidhu Moose Wala

Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, known as ‘Sidhu Moose Wala’ was a 28-year-old Indian rapper, singer, and songwriter YouTube star. He was popular for his Punjabi music including his track ‘So High’ which raised him to the mainstream in 2018. Sidhu joined YouTube on 30 October 2017 and had 18.8 million subscribers and over 5.3 billion views on his YouTube channel.

On 29 May 2022, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in the state of Punjab, Mansa. He sustained 19 wounds from bullets. Within an hour of the assassination, a Canada-based gangster, ’Goldy Brar’ took responsibility for the killing.

Later on, 23 June 2022, Sidhu Moose Wala’s first posthumous single “SYL” was released.
